Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico I will always love the desert, but Oregon is my home now. I moved here in 1991 and absolutely love it! I believe Portland is the greatest place to live in the US. I spend a lot of time outdoors so Oregon is a perfect place for me. I love our community and believe volunteering is a wonderful gift of our time and energy. Some of the things I’ve found to be rewarding include reading with students through SMART, doing Chair Yoga with seniors at foster care homes and performing belly dance at community events.
